St. Mary's Ascension Window  

For the past few years, members of the Church Committee have been monitoring the condition of our stained glass windows. Alex Allardt, our resident preservation authority, has been guiding us through this process and made a presentation about the stained glass windows to the Vestry at their April 2004 meeting. After diligent and conscientious study, the Vestry awarded the work of restoring the Ascension Window to New England Stained Glass located in North Attleboro, MA.  

The window was removed the week of August 23rd and re-installed just two days prior to Christmas on December 23, 2004.

The following photos provide a glimpse of the removed window and the installation process of the Ascension window. Special thanks to Debby Timby who captured the installation of the window in the photos below.
